Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa

I recently visited Jensen Beach, Florida and stayed at Hutchinson Shores Resort and Spa! We had such a fun and relaxing time– two vacation necessities for me. Whether you’re looking for your next family vacation destination or need a little girls spa weekend, this might just be the property for you!

Accommodations:

We stayed in an beach level room and it was gorgeous, inside and out! We enjoyed the sunset views every evening and woke up to the sounds of waves in the morning– it was truly paradise! The decor was a nod to coastal lifestyle with crisp white linens, nautical decor and modern furnishings.

Dining:

There are three dining experiences on the property and we were able to enjoy all of them during out 2 night stay! We ate at Drift Kitchen + Bar for breakfast one morning and both dinners, it’s the ‘nicer’ dining option for the property since the other two are outdoors and more pool deck/beachside lunch spots. For breakfast at Drift, I had the best omelet + iced coffee, just what this girl enjoys! For dinner on the first night at Drift we did family style build your own pizzas, which was so fun and something the resort offers for larger parties. This would be so fun if you were there with several different families– kids would love it, but I’ll admit we were a group of adult women and had the best time doing it! I was thinking this would be a great property for a chill bachelorette party and this would be such a fun activity one night! The last night we ordered from the menu at Drift and I had the best filet of my life, plus you have to try the wedge– best combo!

For lunch both days we checked out the outdoor options, Reflections (by the pool) and Dune (by the beach)– both offer the same menu and have a delicious cocktail menu! I did the fish tacos one day and a shrimp wedge the next, both were so tasty and fresh!

Spa:

While staying at the resort, I HAD to try out the spa– it was so relaxing and conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel. I had a signature 50 minute massage it was so relaxing and wonderful! I would definitely recommend adding the hot stone therapy. This also stemmed a great conversation for the group that night at dinner– what is your favorite part of a massage? Mine is always the neck… hands would be a close second! I think both of these are things people that are tightly wound have an issue with relaxing… guilty.

Like I mentioned earlier, I think the resort would be super fun for a chill bachelorette party! In addition to that, it would be a great girls weekend destination with the spa and overall relaxing environment. While it is calm and relaxing, it also would be fun for family vacations! The property has two pools and rooms that walk right out onto the pool deck– perfect for mid day naps! For me, I think it’d be a perfect couples getaway! I am already planning a trip back with S this winter for a romantic weekend. The property would also be gorgeous for a destination wedding, they have a stunning ballroom on property!

The town of Jensen Beach is super chill and fully encompasses that ‘coastal lifestyle’. It’s a quiet area, but has a ton of really fun and unique things to do. We went paddle boarding on the intercostal water one morning and it was so serene but also an invigorating workout. Other parts of the group went to the Florida Oceanographic Society, the Elliott Museum and took part in a nature walk where they were able to see Sea Turtle nests! Other fun and interesting things in Martin County include: Downtown Stuart restaurants, Golf and the only remaining House of Refuge.

We flew into Palm Beach International Airport and drove about 50 minutes. You could also fly into Orlando International Airport and drive about an hour and 15 minutes.
