Miami Travel Guide + Lookbook

Last week S and I went to Miami with some of our friends and had the best time! It was so great to get away and spend some time in the sun! I am so over winter clothes, so this switch was pretty exciting for me (I’m easily thrilled these days). Y’all seemed to really love the spring and summer stuff on social media, so I thought I’d share it here for y’all– plus, a few of my Miami favorites!

We stayed at the Mondrian South Beach and looooved the property and location! It was such a convenient spot and so fun to be on the intercostal water! It was a gorgeous view and we were able to save a little money by opting out of a beach resort. The photo below is by the pool and cabana on our first night– they say this is the best place in town to watch the sunset and I must agree!!! We got into a little morning routine during our stay of getting in a quick BBG session in the gym and walking across the street to Joe and the Juice for a latte! We also all pretty much turned into a kale caesar after being there a weekend because we ate one every single day– best salad I’ve had in a long time!!

On the first day we lounged by the pool in a cabana and it was so much fun! We even had massive pizzas delivered from Pizza Bar– y’all they were the biggest pizzas I’ve ever seen and SO delicious! The pool was a lot of fun, but also super relaxing! It was the perfect way to start our trip! We spent the next two days on a private boat cruising the intercostal waters and even made our way to Biscayne Bay, which was so so fun + gorgeous!

We had brunch at 1 Hotel and could have seriously stayed all day taking photos– definitely the most Instagrammable spot in town, if I do say so myself! For dinner we tried out Planta one night, which was a vegan spot and so delicious (coming from a non-vegan, I feel like that is high praise) and also v photo worthy… we thought it would also be a really cute spot for a girls lunch, but we never had a free chance to go back! Another night we went to Byblos, a Mediterranean spot, and LOOOVED it! Delicious menu and a great part of town! We also went to Bodega one night for happy hour + tacos and wished we could have stayed longer! If you walk through the potapotty door you’re suddenly in a super high end, chic bar and I was sooo hear for it! Also the best tacos I’ve ever had– I highly recommend the BBQ one! For Jess’s birthday we went to Swan aka Pharrell’s restaurant and had the best time! It seriously feels like you’re eating in an urban rainforest (is that a thing? def not… but I’m making it a thing). I died for the appetizer corn, corn, corn…. it was amazing– mashed corn, corn and popcorn combo… what? YUM!

Now for the goods– here is everything I wore for our trip (lol it is not lost on me that I wore 16 outfits in 3 days).
